Getting married in Bath, Brunswick, Harpswell, Phippsburg, or Georgetown?

Requirements for getting married in Maine are fairly straightforward; licenses are available at any town office.

The first version of this list was put together when I was a member of the marketing committee of the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber represents businesses in sixteen Midcoast towns (Arrowsic, Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Dresden, Edgecomb, Georgetown, Harpswell, Phippsburg, Richmond, Topsham, West Bath, Westport Island, Wiscasset and Woolwich), and the list was for the Chamber’s website.  As such it had to be limited to Chamber members.  However, I also posted a copy to my own wedding photography blog and vendor friends who were not chamber friends asked to be added, and so this version of the list has taken a new direction.

Links were correct when they were added.  If you come to a link that no longer works, please let me know.  Also, if you are a wedding service provider in these areas and want to be added to the list, please let me know.

I listed wedding and reception venues first because that’s usually the first service the couple secures. However, the remaining service and product providers are listed alphabetically.  I hope this list is helpful.
